Tips to Prepare For Nose Job Surgery

    Enquiry Form

Choosing rhinoplasty is a major decision. But a lot has to be done before opting for the Nose Job Surgery. Nose Job Surgery in India is readily available at many clinics. In fact, it is one of the most common procedures carried out nowadays. Rhinoplasty in Punjab is being conducted at various clinics. So you need not worry about the procedure.

Before opting for the procedure, it is necessary to check out a few tasks and complete them. Check out the options yourself-

    1) Get the medical tests carried out much before

Patients are required to have one or more tests carried out which include X-rays, ECG and blood work.

These must be completed well before the preoperative appointment so that the results can be studied in detail. You can also make the test results available through your primary care provider which will be time-saving.

    2) Prescriptions and timing

The prescription medication which you will require after rhinoplasty should be filled well in advance. The prescriptions include around 4 medicines –a painkiller an antibiotic and two anti-nausea medicines. These medicines should be with you before the surgery so that you will have one task less post-surgery.

    3) Refrain from  smoking

The cancer stick anyways doesn’t have any benefits. It is best to quit it before the surgery. This way, you will be making the healing process much easier. You could phase out your addiction by switching to nicotine patches and other substitutes.

    4) Get a friend or a family member to stay with you

You will need constant attention after the surgery. Obviously, you will not be in the condition to drive after the surgery. If you don’t have family members nearby, it is a wise decision to call someone to stay with you. Ask them to stay over for at least the first night. The more days they stay the better. That is not to say that we don’t have a nursing service. Our clinic arranges for staffers to look after you in the post-surgical phase.

    5) Prepare the meals

As you won’t be able to cook for a few days, it is better that you prepare your meals in advance and put them in the freezer. You will be required to walk for 30 minutes thrice daily after the operation. So you won’t have much time and energy left for cooling either! Now that’s called superb planning, isn’t it?
