A few days ago, we were being approached by a patient at our clinic for hair transplant in Punjab. Firstly he enquired about the hair transplant cost. Our representatives told him that the eventual cost will thoroughly be dependent on the total number of grafts needed to fill the bald region. The patient started the communication by telling the doctor that he was completely disappointed with the result of the already underwent hair transplant treatment. He added that he has just come to them to have a second opinion regarding his case of baldness. The doctor examined whether he is eligible for undergoing the hair transplant or not.
Examination
On examining the patient, the doctor found that the patient is not able to undergo the hair transplant because of the lack of grafts in the door zone. He needed 5000 but his donor area had only 1500. The patient was stunned. Here’s what he told the doctor next.
He was cheated
He told our doctors that he paid for the 5000 hair grafts. But our team of surgeons was sure that the patient did not have more than 5000 grafts. We asked him to call the clinic again and to check what exactly the matter is.
What did the clinic representative tell him?
They said, “ No, sir you paid for 1500 hair grafts and we aimed at acquiring 5000 hair follicles in your scalp.”
